Generally Available: Route-maps for Azure Virtual WAN
Route-maps is a feature that gives you the ability to control route advertisements and routing for Virtual WAN virtual hubs. Route-maps lets you have more control of the routing that enters and leaves Azure Virtual WAN site-to-site (S2S) VPN connections, User VPN point-to-site (P2S) connections, ExpressRoute connections, and virtual network (VNet) connections.

Azure Disk Storage now offers the feature called Performance Plus in GA, which enhances the IOPS and throughput performance of Standard HDD, Standard SSD, and Standard HDD disks that are sized 513GB or larger. Performance Plus is offered for free and is available to use through deployments on Azure Command-Line Interface (CLI), PowerShell and the Azure Portal.

Generally Available: Support for Managed Identity based authentication flows in Azure Load Testing

Azure Load Testing now supports simulating managed identity based authentication flows in load tests. As you transition to more secure authentication methods like managed identities, this capability ensures that you can seamlessly and effectively run load tests as well. Configure the authentication flow in your test script and select the identity to be used, and Azure Load Testing takes care of setting up the test engines to ensure the authentication works properly.

Public Preview: Managed Identity for Azure Red Hat OpenShift
Azure Red Hat OpenShift introduces managed identity and workload identity in public preview as a secure alternative to Service Principals. This feature offers short-term credentials with minimal permissions, reducing operational burden and enhancing security with granular access control.

The April 2025 update includes: cluster-wide proxy support for restricted environments, expansion to Spain Central region, and OpenShift 4.16 availability. We're preparing customers for SDN to OVN-Kubernetes migration before OpenShift 4.17 and supporting Ddsv5 instances with NVMe storage.
