Azure Storage Mover—a free, fully managed service— now supports data transfers from Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 to Azure Blob Storage, ideal for multi-cloud architectures or full migrations to Azure. The new Cloud-to-Cloud migration capability enables simplified, petabyte-scale data movement securely between clouds.

In addition to the new Cloud-to Cloud migration feature, Storage Mover already supports migration of on-premises SMB shares to Azure File and SMB and NFS data into Azure Blob. The multicloud connector for AWS enabled by Azure Arc streamlines authentication and keeps data secure throughout the transfer. Because the service handles orchestration behind the scenes, your applications remain online with minimal disruption.
