Version 142.0.3595.94: November 20, 2025
- Fixed various bugs and performance issues, and feature updates.
Feature updates
- Connected Feature Control (CFC). Admins now have centralized, granular control over cloud-powered and AI-driven services in Microsoft Edge such as Translate, Compose, and Auto Tab Grouping through Connected Feature Control (CFC). This new experience allows organizations to align Edge with their compliance and data protection standards by enabling or disabling specific connected experiences from a single location in the Edge Management Service portal.
- Cross-platform policies in the Edge management service. Admins can now configure policies for Edge for Business across macOS, iOS, and Android devices on top of their existing Windows configurations in the Edge management service. Note: This experience is currently in public preview and can be accessed by opting in to targeted release in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Watermarking Protection in Microsoft Edge for Business. Watermarking Protection in Microsoft Edge helps organizations visibly reinforce data protection policies by overlaying a persistent watermark on sensitive content viewed in the browser. This feature is designed to deter unauthorized sharing, support compliance efforts, and increase user awareness when handling confidential information. Note: This experience is starting public preview rollout and can be accessed by opting in to targeted release in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Protected Clipboard in Microsoft Edge for Business. Admins shouldn’t have to choose between locking down copy/paste and risking data leaks. Protected Clipboard offers a smarter way for keeping sensitive data safe without disrupting user workflows. Leveraging Purview DLP policies to define trusted boundaries across managed cloud apps. Data inside those admin defined boundaries can stay protected while external data can enter if needed. Granular control for admins. Seamless productivity for users. Note: This experience is starting public preview rollout and can be accessed by opting in to targeted release in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Tenant Restrictions v2 (TRv2). New enforcement to block access from unauthorized Microsoft 365 tenants directly in Microsoft Edge for Business, helping organizations maintain strict compliance and prevent data leakage across tenant boundaries. Note: This experience is starting public preview rollout and can be accessed by opting in to targeted release in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
