There are two ways scheduling a videoconference meeting:

Schedule a meeting through chat - the Schedule a meeting icon below the textbox where you usually write your message. -> This is also for ad-hoc meetings

Scheduling a meeting through the calendar - go to your calendar (left side of the desktop app), and New Meeting

The calendar is certainly the most suitable tool for scheduling a meeting.

To do this, either double-click on the desired time window in your own calendar or open a meeting window by clicking on the"New meeting" button (top right).

Here you enter everything, including the email addresses of the participants to be invited, and confirm by clicking the"Send" button. This also sends the invitation including the participation link.
