User‑initiated provisioning for Windows 365 Reserve (public preview)
Windows 365 Reserve now supports user‑initiated provisioning in public preview, giving eligible users the ability to set up their Reserve Cloud PC directly from the Windows App when they need secure access quickly—such as during device failures or while traveling.

This capability is off by default and fully governed by IT. Admins can enable user provisioning through Windows App settings for Windows 365 in Microsoft Intune and scope it to specific Microsoft Entra ID user groups. When enabled, users can start provisioning on demand while IT continues to manage policies, licensing, and overall governance, helping reduce downtime without changing existing administrative controls.
