Windows 365 support for Germany West Central and Switzerland North
Windows 365 Frontline in shared mode is now available in Germany West Central and Switzerland North. This regional expansion helps organizations provision Cloud PCs closer to users, supporting lower latency and local data residency requirements for shift‑based and shared access scenarios. For more information, see Supported regions for Cloud PC provisioning.
Frontline Shared Provisioning Policies Update
Windows 365 Frontline (Shared mode) provisioning policies now support up to 5,000 Cloud PCs per policy. This update allows organizations to scale Frontline deployments more efficiently and reduces the need to manage multiple provisioning policies as Frontline workforces grow.
Captive portal support for Windows 365 Boot
Windows 365 Boot now supports captive portals, allowing users to connect to Wi‑Fi networks that require web‑based sign‑in, such as accepting terms or completing one‑time password authentication. Network registration opens in the default browser, with clearer connectivity status shown in Quick Settings and Action Center. This update applies to Windows 365 Boot devices only.
