Miracast Wireless Standard
Is it possible to transfer screen contents back to the PC?
Hello, with Win 10 there is the option "Project onto this PC" under "Connect". Has anyone ever tested this?

Yes, I tested it with my laptop (Lenovo Win 10) and Samsung S8.
Simply press "Projection onto this PC", a menu should open where you can set up the whole thing ( Public/Home W-lan, Pin, PC Name etc.). Then connect your smartphone with a Screen Share App (integrated in Samsung, called Smart View) to your PC (enter pin if necessary). After that you should see the smartphone as a window on your PC. Sound playback then also takes place via the PC speakers and you can use the keyboard as input on the smartphone. Apparently one should also be able to control the smartphone with a touch display on the PC (unfortunately I couldn't test it, no touch on the laptop). The mouse pad is not supported. If you can "project" from one PC to another I haven't tested yet.
