NEAT PAD WALL ADAPTER and Mudrings ?

I am trying to mount a new NEAT PAD SE where the old EVOKO panel was. But I am dealing with one of the orange mudrings. anyone have a solution? I cant go higher and really dont want to go side to side. I was thinking of using a blank wall plate but then I am drilling holes and have to find the oversized metal ones.
