You can now pair three Owl Labs devices wirelessly!
New feature:
- You can now pair three Owl Labs devices wirelessly! The following combinations are supported:
- Meeting Owl (Pro or 3) + Meeting Owl (Pro or 3) + Whiteboard Owl
- Owl Bar + Meeting Owl (Pro or 3) + Whiteboard Owl
Bug fixes:
- Resolved a bug that caused “Lock & Zoom” to mistakenly reset mid-meeting.
- Resolved a bug where devices appeared to be paired in the Meeting Owl App, but were not actually paired while streaming in a meeting.
- Various UI bug fixes.
Enhancements:
- Improvements were made to the Owl Intelligence System (OIS™).
- Paired devices will now switch views between cameras based on the direction in-room participants are facing, even when participants are silent.
- The Owl logo is no longer displayed on the Meeting Owl’s video or on the Owl Labs loading (splash) screen.
- Improvements were made to the Owl’s video quality.
- Improvements were made to the Secondary Owl’s video quality in a device pair.
- Reduced the likelihood that inadvertent noises, such as typing or coughing, get picked up by the Owl’s microphones.
- Improvements were made to increase device pairing success.
- Improvements were made to increase device pairing stability.
- Added banners and new language in the Meeting Owl App to inform users about visual pairing when initially pairing devices.
- Added popup messages in the Meeting Owl App to inform users about visual pairing when attempting to use features while devices are paired.
- Paired devices will now share “Advanced Audio Settings”. The Secondary device will adjust to match that of the Primary while devices are paired.
- Various UI improvements.
