CCX Phones Update: New Features and Resolved Issues

New Features:

  • Change the Base Profile on CCX Phones: Administrators can select any base profile on CCX400, CCX500, or CCX600, switching between Microsoft and OpenSIP profiles. This change requires a phone reboot.
  • Microsoft Teams Supported Components: Updated versions of the embedded Teams application on CCX phones:
  • Microsoft Teams version 1449/1.0.94.2020111101
  • Microsoft Admin Agent version 1.0.0.202010121132.product (223)
  • Microsoft Intune Company Portal version 5.0.4927.0
  • Compatibility with Specific Headsets: Support added for several Plantronics headsets, including:

  • Call Management: Fixed mute LED issue on Bluetooth calls; audio is no longer cut off.
  • Device Management: Addressed synchronization issues with Persistent Mute on CCX 400.
  • Security: wpa_supplicant built during authentication now supports 802.1x for wired networks.

  • Application: The out-of-box setup wizard may still appear despite auto-provisioning settings.
  • Audio: Various audio quality issues during calls and page playback.
  • Calling: Problems with call parking and displaying incorrect model numbers.
  • Device Management: Bluetooth naming and telnet access issues.
  • Peripherals: Inconsistent behavior with Bluetooth connections and notifications.
  • Provisioning: Inability to provision CCX phones with MTLS enabled.
  • User Interface: Lock screen reappearing prematurely.
  • Video: Problems with automatic white balancing and video transmission drops.
