New OpenSIP Release Includes Critical Updates and Bug Fixes

Enhancements:

  • OpenSIP-only release introducing significant new features.

Fixed Bugs:

  • Application: Buttons may shift unexpectedly when swiping on the second row.
  • Audio: Low audio level persists despite max volume settings.
  • Call Management:
  • RealConnect URLs fail to parse the Conference ID on CCX phones.
  • Mute LED remains illuminated during speakerphone calls post-Bluetooth mute.
  • Security:
  • wpa_supplicant doesn't support 802.1x for wired networks.
  • Compiled supplicants fail during 802.1x authentication.

Open Issues:

  • Application:
  • Initial setup wizard appears even with auto-provisioning disabled.
  • Handsfree LED does not illuminate during playback of a received page.
  • $F internal functions for feature keys require a physical key; functionality is incorrect.
  • Audio:
  • Handsfree audio level drops unexpectedly during page playback.
  • High volumes on speakerphone cause choppiness for far-end callers.
  • Incoming pages play at low volume intermittently.
  • Removing USB headset distorts audio from the speakerphone.
  • Distortion occurs after push-to-talk calls when dialing a new call.
  • Calling:
  • Users cannot park calls and retrieve them from another phone.
  • OpenSIP URL calls may display the wrong model number.
  • Switching call audio terminals may cause occasional phone reboots.
  • Device Management:
  • Unable to set Bluetooth device names with the bluetooth.device.name parameter.
  • Telnet temporarily disables after incorrect login attempts.
  • Interoperability:
  • CCX phones cannot connect to Exchange Services via Poly OTD.
  • TalkBack prevents answering calls with a connected headset.
  • Apple AirPods lack support for call audio.
  • Logs: Unexpected reboots occur when changing log levels.
  • Peripherals:
  • Bluetooth ringtone plays without verbal call notifications.
  • Mute notifications do not play through Bluetooth sets.
  • Volume levels in Bluetooth sets fail to sync with CCX phones.
  • Post-reboot, first call answers in hands-free mode despite USB attachment.
  • Intermittent disconnection of Bluetooth headsets.
  • Provisioning: Unable to provision CCX phones with MTLS enabled.
  • User Interface: Lock screen reappears if attempted unlock during "No internet..." message.
  • Video:
  • Automatic white balancing may result in a yellowish tint.
  • Camera may stop sending video for up to 12 seconds under specific conditions.
