Why would the outgoing video show a blue screen?

The outgoing video is a blue screen. Incoming audio/video works, outgoing audio works. The blue screen is viewable on screen and through the web portal, so I feel like it is not an HDMI or TV issue.

This sounds like a issue with the camera. Have you tried carrying out a firmware update and resetting the device? Maybe that will help.
