New Features and Fixes in Poly VideoOS 3.4.0 Update

New Features:

  • Support for Presenter Mode: Dynamic tracking feature available on Studio X50 and Studio X30.
  • Live Microphone Switching on Studio X50: Automatic toggle between built-in and expansion microphones.
  • Support for New USB Cameras: Compatibility with additional USB cameras.
  • Support for INOGENI 4K2USB3: Converts HDMI cameras to USB for Zoom Rooms and Poly Video mode.

Enhancements:

  • Wi-Fi Enhancements: Manual configuration and support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.
  • Provisioning Enhancements: New parameters to redirect provisioning services and set conferencing providers.
  • USB Mouse Support: Connect wired or wireless USB mice as input devices.
  • Enhancements for Switching Conferencing Providers: No factory reset required when switching providers. Configuration changes persist.

Fixed Bugs:

  • API Issues: Resolved non-functioning commands.
  • Application Fixes: Issues with Teams login, Zoom logs, and controller launch have been fixed.
  • Audio Distortion: Resolved issues with audio distortion and dial tone errors on Studio X50.
  • User Interface Fixes: Remote monitoring and video feed issues addressed.

Update Instructions:

  • To use Presenter Mode effectively, place the device within 3 m (10 ft) of the speaker, adjust eye-level positioning, minimize background noise, and ensure adequate lighting.
  • Update the INOGENI 4K2USB3 to firmware release 8.39 or higher. Configure the maximum resolution to match the HDMI source.
