Trio 8500/8800/C60 Update: Zoom Room Controller 5.4.0 Support

New Features:

  • Support for Zoom Room Controller (ZRC) 5.4.0 (275) on Trio 8500, Trio 8800, and Trio C60 systems.

Enhancements:

  • Zoom Room Controller update includes the latest security updates from Zoom.

Fixed Bugs:

  • ✔ Touching the screen on Trio C60 wakes the phone from power-saving mode with Poly Studio X50 controller.
  • ✔ Trio C60 systems no longer crash after receiving instant messages.
  • ✔ Trio Zoom Room Controller now adjusts call volume properly.
  • ✔ Calendar authentication issue resolved after required HTTP 204 response.
  • ✔ Meeting invitations processed by Poly Workflow Server now receive OTD functionality.
  • ✔ Telnet login issue fixed; no longer breaks with incorrect username/password.
  • ✔ Trio phones successfully sign in to Skype for Business using OAuth authentication.
  • ✔ REST API command "/api/v1/mgmt/mrpair/info/" displays information about paired devices.
  • ✔ Custom icons now appear on speed dial entries.
  • Recent Calls and Content softkeys now available on the Home screen.
  • ✔ On-call drawer softkeys no longer stay down when swiping.

Open Issues:

  • ? Volume control display slider missing when daisy-chaining two Trio C60 systems.
  • ? Trio systems with Zoom Room PC base profile may not provide audio for calls using third-party features.
  • ? Trio C60 sometimes can't reduce Zoom call volume to zero using hardware volume keys.
  • ? Ring-back tone may not play for outgoing Teams calls immediately after reboot.
  • ? Meetings scheduled for All Day using OTD may show incorrect times.
  • ? Meetings scheduled for All Day may not display in the Trio C60 calendar.
  • ? MacBook Pro 2017 running macOS Big Sur 11.1 can't connect to Trio C60 systems.
  • ? Trio system may receive broadcast packets from the default VLAN when configured for a VLAN.
  • ? Bluetooth keyboards not functional when paired with Trio C60.
  • ? Phone may reboot when enabling Wi-Fi, and screen might get stuck during IP address acquisition.
  • ? Wi-Fi connection status inaccurately reports not connected to cloud server.
  • ? System web interface may display the incorrect time after changing time zone.

The manufacturer Poly has not yet set up its devicebase profile. Content such as updates, compatibilities and support may only be maintained with a delay.
