[NC Cameras: White Balance Updates]
Seamless transition from Auto to Manual mode
When you toggle an NC Series camera's White Balance Mode from 'Auto' to 'Manual', the current White Balance values are now retained from the camera itself, not from the camera's Status/Control component or USB Video Bridge component. This means that you can "lock in" the current White Balance 'Auto' values simply by switching to 'Manual', and then adjust the Manual Red Gain and Manual Blue Gain controls as needed.
Updated range for Manual Gain controls
The range for Manual Red Gain and Manual Blue Gain is now 1 to 5000 (formerly 1-255).
For NC Series cameras, this mode is recommended for difficult lighting situations where each camera in a room experiences different lighting. Simply aim the camera at a 17% gray card (that occupies the entire image), press the One Push button, and the camera will self-calibrate. During the calibration period (approximately 5 seconds), all White Balance controls are disabled. Once the calibration is complete, the White Balance controls are re-enabled and the camera then transitions to Manual mode.
Deprecated: Indoor and outdoor modes
As part of the White Balance updates for the NC Series cameras, the Indoor/3000K and Outdoor/5000K modes are no longer applicable to NC Series cameras.
- If you've configured an NC Series camera for one of these modes, the mode will continue to apply after upgrading to 9.3.1. However, we recommend changing to another White Balance mode. Note that if you switch to another mode or click the Reset all Camera settings button, the deprecated Indoor and Outdoor modes will no longer be available for ion.
- New designs do not show the Indoor and Outdoor modes for NC Series cameras.
- Indoor and Outdoor modes are still applicable for PTZ-IP Series cameras.
Bug fixes

- Control: Visibility of Shared Layers when switching between Design and Run modes now works properly.
- Control: Icons now display properly in QDS when applied to a Popup Button.
- Platform: Wiring a Signal Snake to multiple Signal Snake outputs no longer causes QDS to close unexpectedly.
