how can I create a Windows 10 network drive and read from it on the Flip 2?

Top answer

For this you have to share a local folder for your network. This also works with password protection.

You need to open a folder which you want to share with right click.

Here you need to go to Properties. Here in the drop down menu select Share and you will see this image:

Here again go to Shareand you will get this view.

Just click Release here and the final window will come up:

Here you can see in gray below the folder name, the Shared Folder in a Network Address for your Local Network.

Example: \LenovoPC\Users\Admin\Pictures\NewFolder1

Now once the PC is booted with the folder, this folder will show up in Network Drives on your Flip and will be available to you.
