How to record screencast from whiteboard?

Hi all,

I have a Mac and the Samsung Flip 2. For online courses, I would like to record the content I draw with the Samsung Flip 2 whiteboard via screencast (screenflow) and then process it.

However, I can't do that. When I connect the Flip, I usually just get into the mode of transferring something to the Flip - but I want it the other way around. So what is drawn on the Flip should be recorded live on the Mac. I can't figure out the export dialog on the Samsung either.

Does anyone know how to do this and if not, how else could I solve it?

Thanks :-)

Possibility 1

  • If you have a Flip WM55R/WM65R you can add a CY-TF65BRC tray, the 75/85 models already have a screen share output.
  • Connect a video capture card to your PC and connect the screen share output of the Flip to the video capture card. Use a suitable software to display the content. Now you can stream the content to the webinar.

Option 2 Windows

  • Press the Windows key + K and connect to the screen
  • Press the Windows key + P and select Duplicate or Expand.
  • Press the Windows key + K and allow touch input.
  • Now open a whiteboard app and share its content

Option 3 Windows

  • Connect the computer / laptop with an HDMI cable and if necessary with the USB Touch cable.
  • Press the Windows key + P and select Duplicate or Expand.
  • Now open a whiteboard app and share its content
