Can I connect a Mac and use touch via USB-C?

Hi, I am currently using a Mac with the Flip 2 via the HDMI and USB-A to get touch features. The manual says that the USB-C connection will allow for touch control but I dont seem to be able to get it to recognise my Mac if I plug it into the USB-C port. Is the USB-C only compatible with Windows PCs?

You can combine USB touch and HDMI via a USB-C adapter.

However, the Flip Touch Activation Software is required to use the touch feedback on MAC.
