Hello, I have a couple of Samsung Flip 2 (WM55B) mounted on flip stands where some of them have stopped to switch to landscape mode when rotated. What can I do to fix this? I have tried to reset the configuration settings and have the latest version release 1100.
Best regards, Christoph

Hello,
I have a WM65B which got stuck in portrait mode last week, despite it being mounted in a fixed landscape orientation. A factory reset doesn't fix the issue. I opened a case with Samsung who seem to be aware of the issue and have promised a software update.

I've had the same problem with my WM65B since today. It has been mounted and set up on the wall in landscape format from the start. Since this morning (26.08.2024) the picture is in portrait format and cannot be changed... So same problem as @Sully.
Hello,
Has anyone had this issue resolved?
Thanks
I resolved it finally. you will need a Samsung Remote Controller.
Switch off and unplug, TV discharge its capacitor charged;
Plug-in and Switch ON;
Then press physical TV ON/OFF button to switch ON the TV;
Aim the Remote controller at the back (or near bottom), where there will be a RED LED Flushing upon Remote Controller press;
If the screen is ON / OFF, the key combination: MUTE (press & let go) --> 1 --> 8 --> 2 -and finally the Remote Power ON button
you will hear a CLICK sound from the board behind the TV;
Wait for a while and screen will turned back like BIOS mode;
Use Remote Controller Arrow buttons and locate under Options --> Factory Reset (select via Remote Centre Button) Note: The navigating of BIOS mode can only work when Remote Controller is facing behind the TV while navigating
Once Reset, DONE! Back to initial Landscape SETUP mode and works PERFECT!
MUTE -> 1 -> 8 -> 2 -> Power ON
The device must be switched on or restarted. The service menu now opens.
Settings here can damage your Flip and should only be selected with care.
The factory reset should be located under Options -> Factory Reset.
