Sennheiser SL MCR DW Update Enhances Network Management Features

New Features:

  • Network modes of the SL MCR DW can be changed via SSC command.
  • All IP settings (Ethernet and Dante) of the SL MCR DW can be set via the SSC command.
  • Dante settings can be set to factory default via SSC command.
  • New Location command for SL DW allows storage of a location name (up to 400 bytes) via the SSC command.

Enhancements:

  • Improved audio level metering in Sennheiser Control Cockpit: the Audio Mix Tab now displays gain after the gain slider.
  • Automatic restart of the SL MCR DW after changing network settings to ensure correct IP handling.
  • Support for TCP communication for SSC commands.

Fixed Bugs:

  • Resolved an issue where the SL MCR DW did not retain the IP address when a DHCP server appeared.

Open Issues:

  • A downgrade of the SL Multi-Channel Receiver DW is only possible with a Control Cockpit version higher than 4.2.0. A factory reset must be performed after a downgrade.

Note: All features mentioned can only be activated via the SL Rack Receiver DW itself or via the SSC command for the SL Multi-Channel Receiver DW. For the Sennheiser Control Cockpit, these will be implemented in an upcoming release.
