Audio Solution Certified For MS Teams Rooms With Intelligent Features

The New Unified Communications Speaker Is Originally Planned For Launch On This Year's Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) In May.

Sennheiser introduces the TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker during the company's recent product launch webinar on the 16th of February. It is a unified communications speaker solution for small to mid-sized Microsoft Teams Rooms of up to 10 people. "This addition to our TeamConnect family offers an opportunity for us to expand into a different sized meeting room, at a price point that some might not expect from Sennheiser", said Anne Guhn, Product Manager at Sennheiser. The newly announced device is essentially an omnidirectional-firing speaker that features 7 integrated beamforming microphones being able to cover an area within a 3.5-meter radius. It also offers intelligent solutions like Cortana voice recognition, automatic meeting notes, and identifying the people individually speaking by name (in case they have enrolled their voice).
