Update

Adds support for LED Call Status plus AEC for USB-connected codecs

Improvement(s)

? Call Status support - Changes LED state to notify the user when the room is in a call (off hook LEDS on) or out of a call (on hook LEDs off). This feature requires Logic and Call status enabled and connection to a supported USB codec. This setting is disabled by default.

? Device Type - Informs USB-connected codecs that the ANIUSB has AEC (acoustic echo cancellation) in the signal path. The user or codec* can then enable or disable the AEC on the codec.

*Codec must support AEC disable for ANIUSB or have manual disable.

  • Speakerphone: Use for microphones without DSP (MXA310), or when the codec handles DSP.
  • Echo-canceling speakerphone: Use when microphones have IntelliMix DSP with AEC enabled (MXA710 or MXA910) or when the codec DSP is not needed.
  • Designer's Optimize workflow chooses the correct setting for USB device type
  • USB device type changes take 3-4 seconds and audio drops out briefly. Do not change other settings while this takes effect.
  • Select the ANIUSB as the default audio device in the codec after making changes.

Known Issue(s)

? Pop noise is triggered when the channel is unrouted in Dante controller with encryption enabled

? When exporting Presets using Safari on a Mac OS, the file type is saved incorrectly and must be renamed to .json to be imported.

❗ When attempting to load the device's web page after using SUU to upgrade or downgrade between MXA 4.3 and earlier releases, the browser may appear to be stuck on the "Loading" screen with the progress bar continually moving. This will typically happen if two upgrades or downgrades are performed within a one-hour period. To correct this, hold your Shift key and click the Refresh button in your browser (or press Ctrl+Shift+R [Win]/Ctrl+F5 [Win]/Cmd+Shift+R [Mac]; note the keyboard shortcut doesn't work on Safari)

? Shure Audio Encryption is not backwards compatible; all devices must be on version 4.1 firmware or newer to use this feature

? ANI22/ANI4 - In AES67 mode - Audio does not pass after changing Dante Device name, followed by reboot

? ANI22-XLR reverses absolute phase from Analog in to Dante out - workaround is to enable "Invert polarity" for Dante Output

Note(s)

? ANIUSB-MATRIX version 4.4.14 is compatible with ANIUSB-MATRIX devices running older firmware versions, but updating all devices used together to the same firmware version is recommended.
