P300 Firmware Update: New Features and Known Issues

New Features:

• Improved gain, audio routing, and EQ contour settings when using the Designer "Optimize" feature with P300 and Shure microphones.

Enhancements:

• Disabled USB Mute Sync communication with software codec platforms.

Fixed Bugs:

• Bug fixes have been implemented.

Open Issues:

• P300 Shure Audio Encryption is not backward compatible; all devices must be on version 4.1+ firmware to use this feature.
• P300 Shure Audio Encryption sometimes has a brief crackling sound on audio after muting.
• Shure Update Utility and Designer may not allow downgrading of new P300s shipped with 4.2.7 or higher due to a platform update.
• P300s with firmware 4.3 require Designer versions 4.3 and higher; not supported in versions 4.2.1 and earlier.
• P300 firmware may periodically add new properties, making the device undiscoverable if downgrading without the new properties.
• After upgrading or downgrading between MXA 4.3 and earlier releases, the device's web page may stall on the "Loading" screen.
• Workaround: Hold the Shift key and click the Refresh button or use the shortcut:
• Windows: `Ctrl+Shift+R` / `Ctrl+F5`
• Mac: `Cmd+Shift+R`
