MXA310 Firmware Update: Enhancements and Known Issues

New Features:

  • Ability to configure network services for improved usability.

Enhancements:

  • MXA310 devices manufactured from July 2017 are now compatible with AES67.

Fixed Bugs:

  • AES67 mode: Audio does not pass after changing Dante Device name and rebooting.
  • Safari export issue: Files saved incorrectly and need to be renamed to .json for import.
  • Backwards compatibility: Shure Audio Encryption requires all devices to be on version 4.1 or later.
  • Browser loading issue: After SUU upgrade/downgrade between MXA 4.3 and earlier; workaround: hold Shift and Refresh.
  • Channel EQ settings return to default after updating from version 2.X to 4.2.
  • Incorrect command string responses for Mute Control Function.

Open Issues:

  • Stuck loading screen: When attempting to load the device's web page after frequent upgrades or downgrades.
  • Mute Control Function response mapping is incorrect for certain cases.

Update Instructions:

  • MXA310 version 4.5.8 is compatible with older firmware versions; updating to the same version is recommended.
  • For operation with Dante Controller, use minimum versions:
  • Windows: v3.10.2.4
  • Mac OS X: v3.10.2.3
