Known Issues
- The link to SLXD+ release notes link for SLXD+ firmware does not open in a browser:
Workaround: https://www.shure.com/en-US/support/downloads/software-firmware-archive to view the latest packages - The MV6 and MV88USBC may not successfully firmware update when multiple Shure applications are open at the same time.
Workaround: Close the other Shure applications and keep them closed until the update is complete in the Shure Update Utility app. - The app may not indicate when MXA Mute button has finished an update. During this instance, the UI progress bar is stuck until the timeout of an hour occurs and then states the firmware update has failed.
Workaround: the update should be successful – confirm by closing and re-opening the app. - The app may crash when connecting or disconnecting Ethernet while the Event Log is open.
Workaround: Close the Event Log before connecting or disconnecting hardwired Ethernet. - When updating SLX-D receivers and transmitters at the same time, the update may fail on the first try.
Workaround: Retry the update or update each device individually to successfully update the devices. This will not hurt or damage your devices. - SUU fails to launch after installation on macOS Ventura 13 or macOS Sonoma 14.
Workaround: Update to macOS Sequoia, or Navigate to System Settings -> Privacy and Security, scroll down to SUU notification, click on Open Anyway, and enter the password. - Device discovery is delayed by up to 20 seconds when the device network includes GLX-D+ receivers running firmware version 2.0.17 or previous.
Solution: Update to 2.0.18 version or later. - ULX-D devices that are downgrading to 1.5.6 may report a false failure.
Workaround: Because this is a false failure, closing the send updates window and going to the main page, Shure Update Utility will show green for the firmware version.
