Siemens released Drives Software Version V5.2

Siemens recently released Drives Software Version V5.2. This version has been improved and carries several novelties. Bugs and bugs in previous versions have also been improved. Some of the novelties are:

• DRIVE-CLiQ encoder frame enhancement for transferring dynamic supplementary data Controller parameter adaptation (requires a license; Article No .: 6SL3074-0AA17-0AH0)
• Remaining time calculation in case of a thermal overload (r5386)
• Motor replacement detection for cogging torque compensation (alarm A07356)
• Under-temperature monitoring for motor temperature sensor (p4622)
• SINAMICS S120 Combi for SINUMERIK control systems
