New switching cycle counter function for 230V TRIAC modules

For the 230V TRIAC modules of SIMATIC S7-1500, there is a new function called a switching cycle counter.

This presents a preventive maintenance concept that can be implemented with the function, which helps monitor the actuators that are connected and replaced before they cause a loss of production.

Thus, the availability of the plant is significantly increased since unplanned failures are avoided.

• DQ 16x24VDC/0.5A ST
• DQ 32x24VDC/0.5A ST

Cycle counter for integrated relays:

• DQ 8x230VAC/5A ST (Relay)
• DQ 16x230VAC/2A ST (Relay)
