New update Siemens CPU 1500

Siemens has announced a new firmware update for the 1500 series processors. It allows for various changes and improvements. This update applies to over 30 Cpu. New firmware version V2.8.3 brings: Configurations with earlier TIA Portal STEP 7 Professional versions are compatible with later releases. Totally Integrated Automation Portal with STEP 7 Professional V16 or higher is required to configure this CPU firmware version. You can find out more about this update here.
