SIMATIC PCS 7 Libraries Updates

Siemens has released an update for Basis Library V8.2 on 09/10/2020. This update introduced new methods as well as new features. Some of them are:

• Improvement of the block OB_DIAG1 relating to the diagnostics of devices connected via a Y-link to an S7-400Hsystem
• Improvements in ACC_MODE handling relating to the behavior during downloading of changes in the blocks MOD_1, MOD_2, MOD_3, MOD_64, MOD_D1, MOD_D2, MOD_D3, MOD_D8_PN, MOD_D16_PN, MOD_D24_PN, MOD_ENME, MOD_MS, MOD_CENTPNAL,
• Improvement of the robustness of the time-stamping blocks IMDRV_TS and OR_32_TS
• Correction in the blocks OB_BEGIN_PN and OB_BEGIN_HPN relating to the diagnostic handling of IO modules plugged into the central or expansion rack
