Mobile wireless (applies to MUM85x-1)

• Dashboard
  Integration of a dashboard in Web Based Management. This gives the user a quick overview of the most important device settings and statuses. The user can create his preferred dashboard view from a variety of dashboard contents.

Mobile network scan
Information on the available mobile networks can be displayed with the network scan. This enables analysis of the connection quality (this function is only available for module variants A1 and B1)

• MAC firewall
  In addition to the IP-based firewall (Layer 3 and 4), the SCALANCE MUM85x-1 supports a MAC-based firewall (Layer 2). When this firewall is enabled, the device channels the data traffic between the individual interfaces based on MAC addresses.
• SINEMA RC
• Support of a secondary SINEMA RC Server
  In addition to a primary SINEMA RC Server, the connections to a secondary SINEMA RC Server (backup server) can be used to establish a remote connection. The "Connection Check" function can be used to monitor the primary connection and, if not reached, trigger a change to the secondary SINEMA RC Server.
