LED Simulation and New Features for SCALANCE SC-600 Devices
New Features:
- LED Simulation: SCALANCE SC-600 devices now indicate DI and DO status in WBM.
- Redundancy – Link Check: A table for monitoring optical connections in the ring is displayed.
- Ethernet Statistics: Tables with interface statistics and RMON statistics are now available.
- Firewall Monitoring: Active connections passing through the firewall are now tracked in a table.
- IPsec VPN: General IKEv2 Make-before-break configuration added.
Enhancements:
- Backup Configuration Restart: Specify which backup configuration to activate post-restart.
- Configuration Export: Firewall and NAT settings can be exported in *csv format.
- Power Down Functionality: Disable ring and standby ports via the "Power down" feature.
- Quality of Service (QoS): Enhanced capability to prioritize data traffic.
- Enhanced Passive Listening: Improved compatibility for Spanning Tree protocol.
- Unique VLAN MAC Address: Each VLAN interface can now have a unique MAC address.
Fixed Bugs:
- Dynamic Firewall Rules with RADIUS Authentication: Parallel login for multiple users in the same group is now supported.
- NTP Synchronization: Time synchronization with NTP now avoids major discrepancies.
- Firewall Rule Overlaps: All firewall rules correctly observed even with overlapping addresses.
- Inter-VLAN Bridge Issues: DCP requests not directed to the device are no longer answered.
