API based configuration

• In addition to the manual configuration of the SIMATIC CC7, a REST based API is now also available, which can be used to automate or script all settings of the SIMATIC CC7 via tools such as cURL, Postman etc.

• The P1 cloud interface can now also optionally be used for reconfiguration of the SIMATIC CC7 via WBM or API.

Arbitrary distribution of the same process value over different topics

• Process values can now also be assigned across different topics and cloud profiles. This simplifies project planning enormously, especially for distributed cloud systems, since double project planning of the data points is no longer necessary.

User-defined payload templates

• User-specific payload templates can be created and stored in the SIMATIC CC7.
• This simplifies the project engineering, if e.g. several topics have to use the same user specific payloads or the format changes regularly.

Additional extensions for IPv6

IPv6 can now also be used at the process data interface e.g. for the connection of IPv6 based process stations.

New filter options in the configuration interface

Data point and topic overviews in the web interface can now be filtered using SQL syntax. This makes it much easier to work with large quantity scaffolds.

Extended import functions for data points

Data imports from S7 data sources can now include nested structures and Array of Structs
