Enhancements in Function-based blocks:

• Align to APL Faceplate design

• Dynamic allocation of equipment module across multiple Units

• Faceplate jump from Adapter faceplate to UnitIf/EqmIf faceplate

• Block engineering tool at template library

• ApMotSpdCL: Configurable internal / external switch based on manual / auto mode

• ApMotSpdCL, ApPIDConL: SP external input and output contacts for easy engineering

Enhancements in communication between SIMATIC PCS 7 and SIMATIC PCS neo / S7-151x controller:

• TCPConR for single / redundant communication

• TSnd / TRcv blocks for single / redundant communication

• TRcv_IntVal, TSnd_IntVal for integer value communication

• Block functional improvements

Important notes

• TCPConR & Tsnd / TRcv blocks are recommended for both single and redundant controller communication. TCPCon & TSndH / TRcvH blocks are retained for backward compatibility and does not contain new features.

• Due to enhancements in function-based blocks and TCon based communication blocks, the block interfaces are changed which might require CPU stop for type update. Refer to Online read me for the list of blocks with interface changes.
