What is new in SIMOCODE ES V20?
The following new features and innovations are available at SIMOCODE ES in the TIA Portal:

• Integration of the new SIMOCODE M-CP devices and support for the basic functions
• New online access via OPC UA for parameter assignment of the SIMOCODE M-CP devices
• New online access for the local interface of the SIMOCODE M-CP devices via USB
• Support for parameter assignment of the SIMOCODE M-CP operator panel
• Support for OPC UA encryption for SIMOCODE M-CP
• Generation of QR codes for SIMOCODE M-CP, in which, for example, the address of the web server can be recorded
• New logic functions for SIMOCODE M-CP (AND/NAND, OR/NOR, XOR/XNOR, NOT, TOGGLE, comparator)
• Support for firmware updates of all components of SIMOCODE M-CP via USB, PROFINET, and OPC UA
• New access administration for SIMOCODE M-CP for the operator and engineer roles in the commissioning editor
• Stability when working in the TIA Portal has been improved, based partly on feedback from returned crash reports

Functions of this software
This free-of charge software provides the basic functions to the user which are required by commissioning or maintenance engineers. A trial license of SIMOCODE ES Professional for testing the full range of functions can be activated for a duration of 21 days.

More functions with SIMOCODE ES Professional
A license for SIMOCODE ES Professional can be purchased for a more extensive range of functions (currently only for SIMOCODE pro) beyond the period of usage of the trial license. This is the perfect tool for engineering and configuration and includes an integrated graphics editor, possibility of mass engineering and parameterization/diagnosis via PROFIBUS or PROFINET. The display of all operating, service and diagnostics data always supplies important information about the current state of the motor and plant - everywhere on PROFIBUS and PROFINET. For SIMOCODE M-CP besides parameterization/diagnosis via the local interface USB also the possibility via OPC UA is available. Users of the basic license can benefit from this in SIMOCODE ES V20 only.

For SIMOCODE ES Professional the following variants of license and delivery types are available:

TIA Portal Language Packs
SIMOCODE ES V20 – like TIA Portal V20 - can be directly installed in the languages German, English and Chinese. The languages French, Spanish and Italian can be installed later using the TIA Administrator or downloaded and installed directly from this page.
