What is new in SIMOCODE ES V21?

The SIMOCODE M-CP Firmware Version 1.1 can now be configured with additional functions with SIMOCODE ES V21.

Users of the SIMOCODE M-CP Firmware Version 1.1 benefit from the following new functions:

• Logbook
• Support for initialization module
• Fieldbus switching between Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP
• Dry-running protection for centrifugal pumps according to ATEX (licensable function)
• SIL1 input (licensable function)
• Support for 1-wire functionality (licensable function)
• ATEX/SIL1 approval
• License management

In addition, the following innovations were implemented in SIMOCODE ES V21:

• Firmware upgrade from 3UF8 devices in the context of a project.
• IUM Rogowski module with Firmware Version 1.2 available in the hardware catalog.
• Display of a banner when password protection is missing.
• Use of the Continuous Function Chart (CFC) also for 3UF8 devices.
• Use of expert list now also for 3UF8 devices.
• Routing via innovation PLC is supported by 3UF8 devices.
• Full support of the openness interface for 3UF8 devices.
• Support for the interface for SIMOCODE M-CP in SIRIUS Sim.
• The released security values can be printed.
• The parameterization of SIMOCODE M-CP can be printed.
• Stability when working in TIA Portal has been improved, based partly on feedback from returned crash Reports.
