Delivery Release for Motion Control System SIMOTION Version V5.7 SP1

SIMOTION Version V5.7 SP1 is released for delivery.
General
SIMOTION V5.7 SP1 is released for delivery with immediate effect. The release contains the following components:
Engineering-System SIMOTION SCOUT, SCOUT Stand-alone and SCOUT TIA, version V5.7 SP1
SIMOTION Kernel/Firmware V5.7 SP1
CamTool V4.7 SP1
DCC SIMOTION V3.7 SP1
SIMOTION V5.7 SP1 is the first generally released version within the major version V5.7.

The above-mentioned software components are initially made available via SIOS (Industry Online Support) and then via Online Software Delivery (OSD) (see Downloads). This means the complete SCOUT environment and firmware can be downloaded.

SCOUT V5.7 SP1 requires a new license key for version V5.7
CamTool V4.7 SP1 still works with license key V4.1

SIMOTION DCC V3.7 SP1 can be used without restriction with currently available DCC SIMOTION licenses that can still be ordered and can be installed with SCOUT (see section SIMOTION DCC).

Functional scope
New functions are available with SIMOTION V5.7 SP1. The most important new functions are:

• SIMOTION in the TIA Portal V20 with SCOUT TIA V5.7 SP1
• VCI-enhancements
• Improvments of workbench
• Improvements of ST-editor
• Support of idividual Server-Corecertificates
• Security updates e.g. in areas like OpenSSL and Miniweb
• OPC-UA Diagnosis information
• SIMOTION D with SINAMICS Integrated V5.2 SP3 HF21
