Variants and installation package
SINAMICS Startdrive is available as Basic and Advanced variant. Startdrive Basic contains all essential functions for commissioning and diagnosis of drives. Startdrive Advanced contains additional comfort functions. Nevertheless there is just one common installation package, which contains all functions. Only if an Advanced function is being used, the Advanced license is required.

• Support of the device version 6.4 for S200, S210 and G220
• new in 6.4, e.g.:
• OPC UA (available from firmware V6.4 Hotfix)
• EPOS extensions (64 bit position values, telegram 113, load gear position tracking, vibration suppression)
• Support of new hardware components for G220:
• communication modules: PROFIBUS, RS485 (release of hardware at later date)
• option modules: DQ Extension Adapter, OM Encoder, OM DIO, OM AIO (release of hardware at later date)
• support of further synchronous motors (1PH8, 1FK7, 1FG1, 1FW3, 1FW4)
• support of further induction motors (1PH3)
• Parameter compare for drives / drive objects (offline and online)
• SI/US unit switching for CU3x0-2 based drives and G220
• Trace templates for preconfiguration of trace settings
