The new fail-safe digital input module (6ES7136-6BA01-0CA0) is a replacement for the older model (6ES7136-6BA00-0CA0), with full replacement compatibility.
After the release, both products will be delivered in parallel due to the transition period of 4 - 6 months, after which the orders will be automatically converted to the new ones.
New features
The new fail-safe digital input module provides improved performance and reduced heat development, as well as lower power loss. It now supports PROFIsafe V2.6 and enables the format RIOforFA-Safety.
