TIA Portal Add-Ins

• In V18 additional types of Workflow Add-Ins are provided, which allow to extend certain functionalities of the TIA Portal with user specific operations.
• With the provided TIA Portal Add-In Development Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 and 2022 and Visual Studio Code a simplified creation and debugging of Add-Ins is possible. In the process, the add-in programmer is offered templates for the existing add-in types.
• The add-in programmer has additional options for displaying messages from his add-in directly in TIA Portal.
• A mass rollout mechanism can be used to distribute add-ins within the company. For this purpose, a service is used that allows an administrator to centrally administer the add-ins on the computers he manages.
