UniFi Update: New Features and Fixed Issues Released

New Features:

• \[UAP\] Adds support for the adoption of UniFi SmartPower Strip (Early Access).

Enhancements:

• \[UAP\] Improve DHCP compatibility, especially when using third-party or non-UniFi DHCP Servers.

Fixed Bugs:

• \[UAP-G2\] Fix intermittent broadcast and multicast packet drop on gen2 APs, introduced in 4.3.24.

Update Instructions:

• All URLs use HTTPS. This assumes your device(s) are running 3.7.56 or later and that the device's date is properly set. Please change URLs to HTTP for devices running earlier firmware or if the date is incorrect.
• US-XG-6POE upgrading from 4.0.2 or earlier will take a long time to upgrade. Expect the switch to be unavailable for 5-10+ minutes.
• UIS-8-450W upgrading from 4.0.33 and earlier will have PoE firmware upgraded automatically. PoE will be unavailable during this process.
• USW-16/24-PoE running 4.0.44 cannot directly upgrade to firmware 4.0.60 or later. Upgrade to this release first via custom upgrade before upgrading to 4.0.60+.
