Update

New version of e-series software

A new version of the software that controls the e-series of robots of this company has been released. The new version 5.8.2 has been released on 4/6/2020 and the following applications have been upgraded in this update:

  • UR Software Update: 5.8.2
  • URSim Linux: 5.8.2
  • URSim Virtual Machine: 5.8.2
  • Robot Image: 5.8.2

Errors such as:

  • Fixed an issue where interference during MoveL could result in interruption of program or robot execution away from the expected path.
  • Fixed mix algorithm for MoveL movements with the large changes of orientation and very small translation.
  • Shortened distance for precise automatic scrolling when using the pose editor and "scroll here" functionality.

The manufacturer Universal Robots has not yet set up its devicebase profile. Content such as updates, compatibilities and support may only be maintained with a delay.
