Major Update Enhances Dante Domain Manager and Fixes Bugs
New Features:
- Added support for SMPTE mode (ST2110-30 clocking) in Dante Domain Manager (DDM).
- Note: Once a Dante device is enrolled in DDM, settings such as Word Clock, Preferred Master, and Latency cannot be altered without unenrolling the device first.
Enhancements:
- Reduced the likelihood of the error message "kernel sysdwn, operation cannot be performed."
- Resolved the issue of VIRTUAL still displaying on the DEVICE MOUNT screen for DDM participants.
Fixed Bugs:
- Fixed a bug preventing HA of MTX3 from being controlled using V5.60.
- Resolved an issue where an INTERNAL USER KEY could not be generated without appropriate authority.
- Solved the problem of the "NETWORK AUDIO MODULE FAILED. PLEASE RESTART THE CONSOLE" message appearing during normal startup.
Open Issues:
- If switching banks in QL StageMix, level meters in the Master Bank may become inactive; rebooting or changing metering points can resolve this.
- QL StageMix might terminate if a scene is recalled immediately after executing DANTE NAMES TO CHANNELS; rebooting can solve this.
- A message "kernel sysdwn" may render the console inoperable; restarting will reset all settings to default, requiring data backup.
- Devices enrolled via DDM may show a "VIRTUAL" indicator; pressing the REFRESH button can fix this.
- "NETWORK AUDIO MODULE FAILED" may appear if the console and Dante devices are powered simultaneously.
- Patching of Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS) may not recall correctly on restart; re-patch DVS if needed.
- Files created by older versions of CL series do not include mount info for non-R-series Dante devices; adjustments may be required.
