- Support for latest Shure product variants and new RF Bands in the QLX-D, ULX-D, and Axient Digital product lines.
Enhancements:
- Improved connection performance between CL/QL Editor and console on high latency networks.
Fixed Bugs:
- Fixed a rare issue where CL/QL consoles interfered with TCP communication of other devices when used with DHCP servers.
- Resolved an issue where remote control status would not update correctly from SYNCHRONIZING to CONTROLLABLE with Rio3224-D2/Rio1608-D2.
- Fixed a bug in Sends On Fader mode that prevented MATRIX buses from being selectable.
- Fixed an issue preventing the Console ID from changing when additional devices were mounted on QL Series consoles.
Open Issues:
- When downgrading a device from V5.80 or later to V5.70 or earlier, the Dante module may not function correctly.
Solution: Re-enroll the device in Dante Domain Manager and restart, or initialize the device while backing up console data with the steps provided. - In QL StageMix version 8.1.1, switching back to the Master Bank can cause the level meters to become inactive.
Solution: Reboot the application or change metering points in SETUP options. - The console may become inoperable after a "kernel sysdwn" message.
Solution: Restart the console, but back up data as all settings, including Dante, will revert to default. - A device enrolled via Dante Domain Manager may display a “VIRTUAL” indicator.
Solution: Press the REFRESH button. - A “NETWORK AUDIO MODULE FAILED” message might appear on console startup.
Solution: Restart the console if this occurs. - Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS) patching issues can occur on restart with QL series devices.
Solution: Repatch the DVS; ensure DVS version is ≥ 3.2.0 for full functionality. - Files created by CL series version V1.15 or earlier may not include mount information for Dante devices other than R-series.
Solution: Reset MOUNT, PATCH, and DANTE INPUT PATCH Library data.
Update Instructions:
- To initialize a device, hold the \[STORE\] key and \[INC\] key (CL series) or the master section A and B \[SEL\] keys (QL series) while turning on the power.
- Regularly back up data to avoid loss when restarting after unexpected errors.
