Adds Access To Edit Meeting Polls For Alternative Hosts On Web

Alternative host can edit meeting polls setting available at the account, group, and user levels
Account owners and admins can enable or disable the setting to allow alternative hosts to create, edit, and download polls during a meeting or webinar. This setting is available at the account, group, and user levels, and can be locked at the account or group level. Previously, this setting was available to all users.
Zoom enablement required for Meeting Connector, Cloud Recording Connector, and Virtual Room Connector
The Meeting Connector, Cloud Recording Connector, and Virtual Room Connector downloads are disabled by default for all new Zoom customers and existing customers that do not currently have the connectors deployed. Customers who want to deploy any of these functionalities must contact Zoom to request enablement. This change does not impact existing customers with instances that are already deployed.
Administrator features
- Support for telephony audio bridges in Asia as a data center region for audio conferencing
Account owners and admins can choose Asia as the region when determining where most participants call into or call from a meeting. An accurate ion can help reduce phone call delays to improve call quality. This setting is available at the account, group, and user levels, and can be locked at the account or group levels. - Enable or disable post-meeting/webinar third-party survey links
Account owners and admins can enable or disable the use of third-party survey links for meetings and webinars at the account and group level. - Enable or disable the Hide meeting/webinar description feature
Account owners and admins can choose to hide the description for new or currently scheduled meetings or webinars. This setting is available at the account, group, and user levels, and can be locked at the account or group level. When this setting is enabled, the meeting or webinar description will be hidden on the following pages: - Schedule meeting/webinar

In the overall usage statistics of the Dashboard, account owners and admins can view the total number of meeting minutes for webinars during the set date range.
User features
- Error code shown for required updates
An error code is displayed on the Update Required prompt when users try to join a meeting that has features enabled that are incompatible with their current, older version. For example, if the host has enabled 2-way chat in the waiting room, which requires a minimum version of 5.8.0, users see an error code along with the Update Required prompt, which can help assist with troubleshooting. There is no change to functionality, only the addition of an error code within the prompt. - UI description updated for the Disable desktop screen sharing for meetings you host setting
In the Zoom web portal, the description for the Disable desktop screen sharing for meetings you host setting was updated to provide clarity that this may not be applicable to users joining via Web clients. This feature is not supported in Web clients due to browser restrictions. There are no changes to functionality. - New tab opens when starting a meeting or webinar from the web portal
When a host starts a meeting, webinar, or webinar practice session from the Zoom web portal, it launches in a new browser tab. This allows hosts to access the join link for panelists, edit polls, and make other adjustments more easily. - Enhancements to the Trust
Under What can we help you with?, theReport Account Takeover or Hacked Account was renamed to Report Account Takeover to clarify that this is intended for reporting account takeovers. Additionally, the Copyright or trademark infringement reporting was relocated under What can we help you with?.

Users can adjust their presence status within the Zoom PWA.
- Leave option added in the join before host waiting screen
When a user on the Web client joins a meeting or webinar before the host, they can click the Leave button to gracefully exit instead of closing the browser, which allows account owners and admins of the host account to view the visit status for reporting purposes.

- Auto-launch PWA on ChromeOS
When enabled by an admin, users clicking on a join link will be directed to the PWA, instead of the soon-to-be-deprecated Zoom for ChromeOS app. This must be enabled for your account by Zoom.
- Frozen video enhancement
To improve compatibility with some Windows devices, the web client may automatically refresh the page when a participant's video freezes is unavailable during the meeting, which can fix the participant's video. A warning will appear before this happens, and this can be disabled through in-meeting controls.

Phone carriers that have an app in the Zoom Marketplace are integrated with the Zoom Phone web portal. Account owners and admins can purchase numbers from these carriers and integrate them with Zoom Phone. - 10DLC Compliance for SMS/MMS
Account owners and admins that are sending A2P or mass volume SMS via Zoom Phone are recommended to register their business information to build a brand, then set up a campaign to enroll in the 10DLC registration to use SMS with their phone numbers as part of Zoom's telecommunication carriers requirements to prevent SMS SPAM. If you are using P2P messaging or using Zoom Phone for your day-to-day SMS messages, the March release will support you for creating your brand and campaign, no need to request this feature, it will be enabled automatically in March for your account. This is for accounts in the US and Canada only. This feature is enabled on demand with a support ticket. - Call recording retention
Account owners and admins can view call recordings of deleted users, call queues and common area phones. Prior to this release, when a user or call queue was deleted, the associated recordings were automatically removed. Admins can view these recordings in the recording logs. Recordings from deleted extensions are labeled with the deletion date. This release does not apply to previously deleted users, call queues and common areas. - Enhancement to call and emergency call recording for call queues
Account owners and admins can opt-in to automatically record emergency calls to their internal safety team call queues when calls are routed in parallel to their Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).

The conference event creation workflow now has two new navigation tabs, theSessions andSpeakers tabs, which will replace theAgendatab.

- Change cloud recording and live streaming settings for live eventsHosts can update cloud recordings and live streaming settings after a ticket has sold, after an event goes live, and during an event. Previously, Hosts could only set cloud recordings and live streaming settings before the event started.
- Event Organizer Mode/Attendee Mode
Hosts can switch between Organizer Mode and Attendee Mode. The Host mode only includes event creation, event management, Hub management, and the Host profile functionality. Hosts can use the Attendee mode to attend Zoom Events, access their tickets, view favorite events, and discover other Hubs.

Event summary charts and survey results are now located in a conference event's Analytics & Control page. Additionally, survey results are now located in the new Survey tab. Previously, event summary charts and survey results were located in the Manage Registration page. - Distribute target session to ticketing from Direct Join Link for Speakers
The direct join link for Speakers is automatically connected with a session. When a Host uses a direct join link to invite a Speaker, the Speaker will receive an email with their session details and their event ticket with their session link. - Enhancements to edit Speaker bio/session functionalities
There are several enhancements to improve the experience of editing Speaker bio and assigned session functionalities so that Speakers can continue to edit their information. Speakers can view details about their edits being rejected by the Host and the Host's message as well as easily access a link to edit their session or Speaker bio again from their email or the Notification Center.

Attendee features
- Attendee Mode
The Attendee Mode only includes Attendee-specific functionalities. Attendees can only access their favorite events, tickets, and Hubs.
Host features
- Support for Pre-registration (internal-facing events only)Hosts can pre-register users from their Zoom account by directly sending them emails with event join links when publishing a conference. Pre-registration eliminates the need for Attendees to register before joining a Zoom Event.

Event organizers now have the ability to provide reports on sponsored booths' performances by using the Host Analytics Dashboard to export the Expo Attendanceby SponsorCSV report. - Export registrant management report
Hosts can now download a CSV file of registrant metrics from the Manage Registration page, if registrants opt in to share their information. - Registration management support for direct join link Speakers
In the Manage Registration page, Hosts can now view, sort, and filter Speakers who were invited to an event by a direct join link. Hosts can also resend direct-join invitations to these Speakers. The Speakers' registration status will display as Direct-join. - Enhancements to Registrant and Session Attendance reports
There are several enhancements to improve the experience of specifying registrant attendance metrics at the session, event, and conference lobby level.
Event setup features
- Disabled chat notification
If an account admin has disabled Zoom Chat for the Host creating an event, the Host will receive a disabled chat notification about their web portal chat settings and the effect it will have on their event. Previously, in the event creation flow, there was no notification or error message that informed the Host that they could not enable their event's chat feature. - Display session preview while Speaker is editing
While a Speaker edits their session, they have the ability to preview their updates on their session details page.
Attendee features
- Enhancements to registration flow for free and paid events
There are several enhancements to make the registration flow for free and paid Zoom Events more efficient. Each registrant will have a streamlined registration flow, which depends on if they are internal/external registrants and if the event has custom questions. - Registrant consent to share personal info with Sponsors
Registrants can opt in or opt out of sharing personal information with Sponsors when registering for an event. - Support for Pre-registration (internal-facing events only)

There are several enhancements to improve the Hub experience to provide an organized browsing experience for Attendees. After Attendees sign in, they will land on the default Hub event listing page, if specified by the Hub Owner, or on the Tickets page, if no default Hub event listing page is specified. - Enhancements to event organizers' Hub experience
There are several enhancements to improve the Hub experience to provide a more manageable event listing directory for event organizers, Hub Owners, and Hub Managers. After event organizers sign in, they will land on the Manage page. Hub Owners and Hub Managers can choose to automatically list created events to their Hub's public event listing page; if they do not choose this, the Hub Owner and Hub Manager can control which events will be published to the Hub's public event listing page.
