Admin features

Introduction of business hours and holiday schedules

  • Account owners and admins can configure business hours schedules at the account, location, or individual workspace and Zoom Room level. A business hours schedule consists of timeframes defining the days and hours when the space is available. Admins can create holiday schedules to specify different hours or no availability for specific dates, such as holidays or office closures. In the future, these business hours will feed into the Workspace dashboard.

Enhancements to adjust floor map

  • Admins are able to adjust the floor map after uploading it by zooming in or out and moving it in multiple directions. This provides flexibility for previously added rooms and desks to fit correctly on the map, even if the file size is slightly different from the original.

Introduction of workspace reservation approval flow

  • Users can request reservations for controlled spaces, which go through an approval process before being confirmed. Workspace Reservations admins or Reservation admins can approve the reservations request. Approvers receive notifications for pending requests and can provide approval or rejection with notes. Users can track the status of their requests and see details of approvals or rejections.

Enhancements to visitor email language selection

  • Users can now select from a range of languages, including Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Dutch, and Swedish, when sending emails or invitations to visitors. The language default will be set to the users default language.

Enhancements to CSV upload for visitor invitations

  • This feature can create multiple visitor invitations by uploading a CSV file. The CSV only requires the date, time, name, email, organization, and notes columns. Before uploading, users or admins, select the location for the invitations. After uploading the CSV, admins can select the option to select a "Skip Registration" checkbox for the invitations. Descriptive error messages are provided if the CSV is missing required columns, guiding users to re-upload the CSV correctly.
