AI capabilities for Workplace-licensed users in Whiteboard
- Users with Zoom Workplace licenses can access AI capabilities in Zoom Whiteboard without requiring an additional whiteboard license. The AI functionality is available to all Workplace users, regardless of whether they have purchased the Whiteboard add-on. The AI features in Zoom Whiteboard help users collaborate more effectively by providing intelligent assistance during whiteboarding sessions.
User features
Zoom Whiteboard card generation
- Users can generate and modify task cards directly through AI Companion in Zoom Whiteboard. This feature provides options to create multiple cards based on selected examples, simplify card content, and automatically generate descriptions and acceptance criteria. Users can select single or multiple cards as templates for generating similar cards. When creating cards, AI Companion analyzes the content to maintain consistency across related items.
Remove AI Companion usage notifications
- Users can access the AI Companion panel without clicking through consent notifications when using AI features in Zoom Whiteboard. Content generated or edited by AI Companion includes clear visual attribution indicators to help users identify AI-assisted content. AI Companion is automatically added as an editor in activity logs when content is created or modified. These improve the AI content creation process while maintaining transparency about AI-generated content.
Image backgrounds for shapes and frames
- Users can set custom images as backgrounds for frames in Zoom Whiteboard. This feature supports various image formats including JPEG and PNG. Users can adjust image settings through resizing and cropping tools, with images automatically fitting to fill the space. The ability to use custom image backgrounds enables users to create more visually engaging presentations directly within the platform.
Diagramming container object
- Users can organize content using container objects that group shapes, sticky notes, images, and cards together. These containers feature customizable fill and outline properties, including corner radius and dotted outlines. Users can nest containers within other containers and frames while maintaining proper Z-order layering. The containers appear as a separate section in the shapes panel with basic rectangle, oval, and their dotted outline variants. When users drag a container, all objects within it move together. Container objects improve organization and flexibility when creating diagrams and visual layouts in Zoom Whiteboard.
Dark mode support for Zoom Whiteboard
- Users can enable dark mode on the Zoom Whiteboard canvas. When dark mode is activated in desktop app settings, the Whiteboard canvas adopts the dark theme.
