Update for Zoom Whiteboard
New or enhanced feature
User features
View and restore deleted items from activity log
- Editors with permission can view and restore deleted content from the activity log in Zoom Whiteboard. Restored items maintain their original attribution to the last editor who modified the content, rather than the user who performed the restoration.
Reduce motion setting for accessibility
- Users can enable a reduce motion setting to minimize animations and movements on whiteboards. The toggle is located in the board's More menu under the Accessibility section. When enabled, this setting reduces motion in presentation mode, frame navigation, link-to-object navigation, keyboard shortcut navigation, and stops GIF autoplay.
Present canvas option
- Users can present whiteboards using a new Present canvas option accessed through a Present button in the top right corner of the screen. This presentation mode disables editing capabilities for participants while allowing presenters to freely navigate the board with full controls visible. The feature includes a presentation toolbar at the bottom of the screen for managing the presentation and a minimized left toolbar showing essential tools.
Precise motion setting for accessibility
- Users can enable precise selection in the board's More menu under a new accessibility section. When precise selection is activated, objects can only be selected when more than 90% of their surface is covered during selection.
Dark mode support for Zoom Whiteboard
- Users can enable dark mode on the Zoom Whiteboard canvas. When dark mode is activated in desktop app settings, the Whiteboard canvas adopts the dark theme.
