Zoom Update: New Features, Enhancements, and Bug Fixes

New Features:

• Consolidated chat search - (Windows, macOS): The Search and Jump to bars in the desktop client are unified, sorting results by type (contacts, channels, files, messages).
• Additional MSI/PLIST/GPO options - (Windows, macOS, iOS): New settings for meeting authentication and automatic updates.
• Focus mode - (Windows, macOS): Only the host can see participant videos; activated from "More" menu.
• Post-meeting survey - (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS): Hosts can configure a survey to launch at meeting end.
• Add video to waiting room - (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS): Customize the waiting room with a video for participants.
• Mute and Video Off when joining a recorded/live-streamed Meeting - (All platforms): Participants join muted and with video off until they consent to recording.
• Video playback directly in Zoom chat - (All platforms): Send and play video files up to 30MB directly in the chat.
• Call queue and auto receptionist SMS (Power Pack) - (All platforms): Send/receive SMS using numbers associated with call queues.
• Meet and chat options - (All platforms): Access meet/chat options within History, Voicemail, Lines, or SMS tabs.
• View contact card and presence - (All platforms): View users' contact details and presence status in relevant tabs.

• Consistent date formatting - (Windows): Adjusted date formats in chats, meetings, and call logs.
• Improvement to existing features - Consolidated search for better user experience.
