The delay is caused by the wireless connection between ClickShare and laptop.

To improve performance, you can place the ClickShare closer to the laptop.
Change the Wi-Fi channel in the ClickShare for the Buttons (don't forget to re-pair the Buttons). Can be found on the ClickShare interface under Wi-Fi & Network -> Wi-Fi Settings -> Edit settings.
A firmware update of the ClickShare can help to improve the performance.
