Improved DSP profiles for Aalto D3

We created new DSP profiles that take our speaker’s audio quality to thenext level. These profiles ensure an impeccable sound and guaranteethat all speakers complement each other in any situation. These new DSPprofiles are now set as default for Aalto D3.

When combining several Aalto speakers in a room, it is very importantto carefully determine the crossover between these speakers. Our newDSP profiles have been optimised so that our different speakers can beintegrated together in any room.

You can adjust the DSP profile in the DSP app:

1. Go to the Basalte app.
2. Press ‘...’ in the right corner > ‘Settings’ > ‘Music’.
3. Open ‘DSP configuration’.
4. Press the profile dropdown and select the right DSP profile

For example, you can select the following DSP profiles in a room with twoAalto D3 speakers and an Aalto B2 subwoofer:

Follow these steps to update Miro, this process can take up to 5 minutes.

1. Make sure the battery is charged more than 50%.
2. Hold the home button for 3 seconds.
3. Press ‘Update Menu’.
4. Start the update

FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS

-The Core servers can handle KNX long frames.Use the Core Plus and Core Mini to program KNX devices in ETS usinglong frame telegrams. This feature is supported for all Core Plus andCore Mini servers starting with serial number 220728001. To avoidlong frames you can enable “Use slowed bus communication”. Thisparameter can be found in the details tab of ETS.

• Fixed app connection issues using basalte.live.
  We improved secure remote connections with the Basalte app.
• Fixed a sync issue in the pro.basalte.live portal.
  The status of the devices is now more dynamic, this will give you an
  excellent overview of all online and offline devices.
• Fixed issue with importing certain Lutron projects.
  Rooms with only keypads were not imported correctly.
• Improved Basalte Studio stability. Fixed a Basalte Studio crash that
  could occur when moving objects in the topology.
• Internal clock improvement. We solved a rare issue where the internal
  clock of the Core server was incorrect.
• Fixed an issue in the DSP page with EQ sliders. Our DSP app is now more
  responsive and will give you more flexibility when tuning DSP settings.
